We typically outfit the Medivac transports aircraft with two aeromedical specialists on each trip. Depending on our Doctors recommendations for that specific patient, we will send critical care nurses, critical care paramedics, respiratory therapists and doctors.

The last option would be the commercial stretcher as opposed to Medevac air fare. What we do is we arrange with an airline to remove anywhere from six to eight seats in the rear of the aircraft and then their mechanic will come in and actually install a stretcher for you. And from that point we’ll do the--we’ll send one of our nurses or two if need be up to that area. We’ll still provide the grounds for you on both sides. We’ll meet you there at the airport and we’ll transport that patient onto the stretcher on the commercial flight and then we’ll have them transported that way.
