As you enter the long distance charter service aircraft the two pilots are to the left in the front. As you go toward the back the Stretcher is on one side and the medical crew have seats beside the stretcher. Behind the stretcher is a seat that is about the size of a loveseat that stretches across the back. The passengers sit on this seat and witness the care that is being given to their loved one. Behind this seat is storage of equipment and supplies.

We fly internationally. We are one of only a few air ambulances that specialize in international trips with about a third of our patients coming from or going to other countries. We can fly by private jet, we can do a commercial escort if the patient is able to sit up and needs limited oxygen, or we can actually do commercial stretcher where they actually take passenger seats out of a commercial airplane and we take the patient as well as our nurses and their equipment aboard the airline.. We are able to take more than one patient on air ambulance service. Some planes are outfitted with two stretchers. Other times, one of the patients is a sitting patients with limited needs. We can work with you to safely move two patients together at a competitive price.

Family members may travel without charge. The number of passengers is based on the aircraft chosen, the patients health, and the length of the flight. Our planes may accept between 1-3 passengers for Medevac air ambulance service.

Pets are very important and we understand that so we try to accommodate them as much as possible. Though we can bring many pets onto the aircraft, it’s dependent on size, but generally there’s no problem with it. We do ask that the pet be bathed, also be sedated, have all their shots with records, and be in a small cage if possible just to keep them from interfering with the care give to the patient, the medical staff or with any of the medical equipment while onboard the Med Flight transports aircraft.
