Complete air ambulance service will provide bedside-to-bedside care. It is imperative that ground ambulance arrangements be made, confirmed and updated to avoid patient waiting. We include this in our Airevac medical transportation pricing unless requested otherwise.
Emergency Air Ambulance provides our clients world class medical care and Airborne transports. However, our clients don't have to sacrifice quality to obtain a good price. We will meet or beat our competitor's bid. Therefore, rest assured that your loved one is getting the best medical care at a reasonable price.
You can meet us at whichever location is more convenient for you. We will wait for you. If you meet at the hospital, you have the option of riding along in the ambulance, but you can choose to do whichever is more convenient for you. If you want to meet us at the airport, we can give you the address and the phone number to the FBO so that you can make arrangements to meet us for Aeromed flights.
Operations center determines the type of air medical air ambulance needed. From Lear jets to twin engine propeller aircraft to helicopters, air ambulances are completely equipped with the latest in medical transport equipment.
Our Aero Stat Flight operation is designed around making our patients as comfortable as we can. We have extra blankets and pillows onboard. If the patient is feeling uncomfortable then we will do whatever they need to make them comfortable again.
All medical equipment and supplies are checked, prior to and after each Airevac charters transport to assure proper maintenance and inventory on all medical equipment. Equipment is regularly rotated into and out of inventory for periodic scheduled maintenance and calibration. Please contact us for more information concerning specific medical needs equipment.
We require a runway length of 5,000 feet. If the runway is shorter than 5000 feet, we can sometimes land patient escort planes there in one of our slower aircraft like a prop aircraft; that way we’d be able to get into that airport. Sometimes the time saved going into the smaller airport more than makes up for the added ground time when going into the larger airport.
These medical flights, no matter their importance, can be out of reach and cost prohibitive. However, there are organizations that specialize in providing this high level of medical air transportation via a charitable means. They provide high quality medical flights as a mission and might be the best option for patients located far away from the high quality medical care that they need.
Our nurses and paramedics have at least five years of experience either in ER or first response to traumas before hiring with us. Then they also go through training to become air certified prior to flying Medivac. In addition, they fly with a preceptor prior to managing patient care. We have ongoing training in protocols and patient care as well as quality review of each trip that is performed.
We are competitively priced but the industry is competitive. Generally when we offer air ambulance ambulances for less it is for a good reason. We fly flights at a very high volume because we have a large fleet of aircraft that are at our disposal. We can generally give cheaper prices because we’re generally in a better position than most other companies. When our company is less than another company, it’s sometimes because we’re in a better position to do the trip in terms of geographic area and therefore we pass the savings along to the client. Other times, the higher priced competitors could be brokers tacking on extra fees on that ultimately are paid by you.
We accept bank wires, certified checks, money orders, personal checks with credit card backup, American Express, Discover, Master Card or Visa and insurance if verification and approval have been confirmed prior to flight. One of carrier air ambulances flight coordinators can assist in insurance verification and benefits.
Our Airevac medical transportation aircraft is supplied with an array of advanced life support medications that can be used to safely transport the patient. One reason we get the medical report is so that our nurses are aware of what type of medications the patient is on, to be prepared to administer during the flight.
