It’s part of our protocol to have two medical personnel on each charter lear jet flight for most cases. If, after the medical report is completed, our chief flight nurse concludes that only one is required, she will confer with the medical director, and at that point we may be able to reduce to one nurse and pass the savings on to our client.
We work with all of major insurance companies, as examples Oxford; Blue Cross and Blue Shield; Aetna, AIG and many others. We will work with your insurance company to determine your transport plane listing coverage and we will accept their letter of guarantee. You will only be responsible for the amount that they do not cover.
We are a licensed transportation flights operator in the State of Florida. Florida has fairly stringent regulations but our medical director is very hands on and ensures that we surpass all requirements. It is important for your peace of mind that you have an operator that does pass such stringent requirements.

With a general discharge, all that is needed is coordination with the service transportation, the sending facility and the family. With a discharge to a an equal facility or to a step-down facility, additional steps are required. The doctor at the sending facility needs to speak to a doctor at the receiving facility. The receiving doctor accepts responsibility for the patient and calls admissions at the receiving facility to get a bed assignment. Admissions will take responsibility for the patient and will accept the patient. Sometimes there is difficulty in trying to get the doctors to communicate in a timely fashion. But what we can do a lot to assist in that, to coordinate and facilitate having them to speak to each other. If the sending facility will not discharge the patient, we can transport them AMA. However, it is imperative in that situation that a receiving doctor and facility accept the patient prior to the transport.
Prior to landing at the receiving hospital's airport, the flight coordinator ensures that the ground ambulance is ready and that the receiving hospital is prepared for charter service jets.
I can not thank you enough for all your support, your understanding, hard work and attention to all the little details. Each time, I knew that I did not have to worry about anything because you had everything about the flight care under control. The flight crew and medical staff were friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of the medical condition of my mother. They made us quite comfortable about the whole situation even though my mother was on a ventilator.
You all are a great brokers services team. Just a little note with a very large Thank You. I wanted to thank everyone with your service for being so kind and understanding at a time of such stress. Thank you again. Due to their fine judgment my husband is doing fine.
