Our medical businesses costs are included within our price. We like to take care of that up front so that as a customer you don’t have to worry about any type of outside charges. When we say we’re going to take care of everything for you, we’re going to include all of the ambulance transport, the cost of the medical crew, and all the equipment and the flight all within the same price.Some companies will include the cost of their medical crew going bedside but not the cost of the ambulances.We include both so that there are no hidden charges that will blindside you afterwards.

Complete air ambulance service will provide bedside-to-bedside care. It is imperative that ground ambulance arrangements be made, confirmed and updated to avoid patient waiting. We include this in our medical transport planes pricing unless requested otherwise.

Once you give us the air ambulance service private information, everything else regarding the transfer is in our hands and we’ll take care of the rest. We try--really try to take the stress out of the whole situation for you. You do need to have arranged for a receiving doctor and facility. If you need assistance with this task we can help.

If our aircraft is up in the New York area that’s coming down to Florida, you are more than welcome to fly on the empty leg down. Our long distance ambulance aircraft are located in multiple areas and it might be difficult to know prior to the trip if our aircraft would be starting from your area. To guarantee that occurence, we can build that into the trip cost. We can customize any trip arrangements that you would like to have.

Flight doctors develop and enforce strict protocols that exceed national standards. He will personally review your patient's case and will provide specific protocols for your patient.

Prior to landing at the receiving hospital's airport, the flight coordinator ensures that the ground ambulance is ready and that the receiving hospital is prepared for carrier transportation.

Our Flight Coordinators will call your insurance company on your behalf and attempt to obtain pre-authorization. We will submit all Medevac Life Flight claim forms and other required documentation. If we are able to obtain an authorization from your insurance company we will not require payment at the time of service.
