We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to assist you. Call for a live flight coordinator to answer to help with your air ambulance services questions.
You may pay us after the patient escort flight. You could pay us either with a wire transfer or a check, but what we will need to do in order to move our aircraft and get our crew ready--we would need to authorize or back it up with a credit card.
We require a runway length of 5,000 feet. If the runway is shorter than 5000 feet, we can sometimes land Life Flight carriers there in one of our slower aircraft like a prop aircraft; that way we’d be able to get into that airport. Sometimes the time saved going into the smaller airport more than makes up for the added ground time when going into the larger airport.
All of our plane emergency aircraft are cabin pressurized to maintain a comfortable flight for our patients. In addition, cabin pressurization is important for patient care. At lower pressures, patients require more oxygen and medical equipment operation is compromised. Insist on pressurized cabins for your patient's care.
We provide a team of Neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists to take care of infants in incubators or isolate. We also provide a team of Pediatric medical staff that will attend pediatric patients. In most carrier transportation flights, parents will be able to accompany their loved ones.
Sometimes the only way to safely transport a patient is by Medevac escort. With MD's, RN's, RT's, pediatric specialists, and critical care paramedics on staff, our medical team is able to safely transport most patients, from hip replacements to multi-trauma, vent dependent cases. Our fleet of aircraft are fully medically equipped and strategically placed to provide cost world-wide air ambulance service.
Prior to landing at the receiving hospital's airport, the flight coordinator ensures that the ground ambulance is ready and that the receiving hospital is prepared for Aircare plane.
Our air charter flights aircraft are staffed with two medical personnel and if it’s a vent patient, it will have a critical care nurse and respiratory therapist who is specially trained to manage the ventilator. We have a ventilator and all ancillary equipment on board our aircraft along with other advanced life support equipment.
