We fly internationally. We are one of only a few air ambulances that specialize in international trips with about a third of our patients coming from or going to other countries. We can fly by private jet, we can do a commercial escort if the patient is able to sit up and needs limited oxygen, or we can actually do commercial stretcher where they actually take passenger seats out of a commercial airplane and we take the patient as well as our nurses and their equipment aboard the airline.. Each of these services has benefits as well as limitations and I would be glad to go over the different options in detail with you. Prior to take-off, the Angel Flight services crew assesses the patient and discussed the trip process thoroughly with the patient and family.

Up to two people can fit in the air ambulance. We have a seat about the size of a love seat behind the stretcher that can comfortably fit two passengers and they can observe the care that we are giving to the patient during life flight.

Our Aircare charters quote to you is all-inclusive. There are no hidden charges or add-ons. Any changes to costs that might occur as a result of changing patient conditions (such as an upgrade to a ground ambulance from a wheel chair van) would only be done prior to a transport and with the full knowledge of our customer.
