What more can I say? Thank you for finally bringing us all together and making it happen through your Mercy.
An air ambulance is a fixed-wing aircraft with built in stretcher system and fully equipped with Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical equipment and medical personnel to assist in the transport of an ill person from one city to another, regardless of distance for Medevac brokers.
What more can I say? Thank you for finally bringing us all together and making it happen through your air ambulance flight.
The flight coordinator sets an itinerary schedule between hospitals, doctors, case managers, ambulances and the family. Meanwhile, our doctor coordinated between the sending and receiving physicians and developed a medical protocol for the patient and Med Flight transport planes.
In terms of cost reduction, we have several options. That would depend on aircraft that you would like to choose. We can fly different aircraft for you. We fly a variety of aircraft that include a Leer Jet, which is going to be the quickest option but also the most expensive but we can also fly either a turbo-prop aircraft or a prop aircraft, both of which will reduce the cost for you. The turbo-prop is going to be a little bit less expensive than the jet, but also a little bit more expensive than the prop or Air Care companies. Whereas the prop will be the least expensive option but also will be the slowest option. It depends on a couple of things. The first would be your flexibility; sometimes if you’re going--for instance, if you’re going from a residence to a residence then there’s a lot of flexibility. If you’re going into a nursing home, sometimes nursing homes will not hold the bed for long periods of time, so you might have a one or two-day window. But once again, if you can give me a five-day notice, what we can do is what we call a back-haul, which is almost the equivalent of being on stand-by at the airport. You can get on that flight for half the cost, but you may not get to go at the time that you want to go. So there’s something that we call a back-haul and what we do is we tie in both Air Care companies trips--two trips together, you know i.e. if you’re going from Florida to New York and we have--and I have something else coming down from New York to Florida then you could definitely have some cost savings in both--it’s a win/win situation for everybody because both parties actually get to share on the cost of the fuel.
Between owned and leased transport plane services planes, we typically do four or five trips per day. We can provide you jets, turbo props and twin engines.
